Description
You will see the 16th century Masseria with adjoining Trulli, as well as the state-of-the-art winery where you can understand the processes from harvesting to production to bottling and shipping.
There will be a tasting of three different wines with savoury snacks.
A quick visit to Locorotondo, the “medieval round town”, then a tasty light lunch with typical Masseria dishes and local wine “Locorotondo DOC”.
Then on to Alberobello. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1996, the historic centre is made up of two distinct districts. We will visit an ancient trullo and meet an authentic “Mastro Trullaro” who will explain the trulli construction techniques.
At the end of the tour we will taste a selection of typical “rosoli” on a beautiful panoramic terrace among the cones and pinnacles of the surrounding trulli.
Finally, there will be free time for photographs and shopping.
